With the DP Pro Therminator polishing pads, the German manufacturer Detail Passion taps into the hype surrounding thermally stable or thermoresistant polishing pads, while simultaneously realizing its own ideas. The advantages of thermally stable polishing pads are clear. Consistent control of paint or clear coat removal during the polishing process is ensured, as the foam does not lose its compression hardness due to heat exposure. This enables pressure to be maintained even at higher RPMs, thus preventing any drop in cutting performance. Similarly, the cellular structure is preserved, leading to optimal cooling and minimizing compression. Based on experience with extremely fast heavy cut polishes like the 3D Car Care 510 and the universal 3D One Hybrid, Detail Passion has implemented additional special properties in the polishing foam.

Super Heavy Cut to Finish: DP Pro Therminator Polishing Pads for Rotary and Random Orbital Use

Unlike other polishing pads made from thermally stable foam, special attention has been paid to the cellular structure and distribution of the polish in the composition of the DP Pro Therminators. Despite the advantages of conventional thermopads, uneven or no polish distribution can occur during application or distribution due to the cellular structure. This can quickly lead to unwanted dry running, especially with medium-hard pads. DP Pro Therminators are optimized for large orbitals like the Rupes LHR15, ShineMate EX620, Makikato POC, and Flex XFE, generating an impressively fast removal rate or a high-gloss finish, depending on the choice. DP Pro Therminator polishing pads can be optionally complemented with heavy cut polishing pads made of hybrid wool or microfiber or used solely as a complete solution.

Eigentlich gut, aber...

Wurde gebeten, meine Einschätzung zu teilen: Das Pad läuft ruhig und wirkt hochwertig, aber bei härteren Lacksystemen fehlt mir etwas Cut. Für weichere Lacke passt’s aber.

Sehr ausgewogen

Wurde um eine Rückmeldung gebeten. Das Pad ist fest genug, aber nicht zu hart – kommt gut in Vertiefungen und lässt sich kontrolliert fahren. Bin echt zufrieden.
