The new Intermediate polishing pads from Detail Passion are based on the well-known technology of thermally stable or thermoresistant foam. They are designed for polishing tasks in a One Step process and for correcting paint defects on softer clearcoats like those from Tesla, Harley Davidson, Dodge, or Asian manufacturers. The blue thermal pads feature an extremely fine open cell foam structure and impress with an unprecedented balance between fast material removal and excellent finish.

Accurate classification of the blue intermediate foam in the existing foam list is challenging. In many cases, the intermediate polishing pad offers the cut of the orange foam and the finish of the very soft black foam. Tests have shown that the Intermediate Therminator polishing pads achieve perfect results when processing PPF protective films.

With the DP Pro Therminator polishing pad, the German manufacturer Detail Passion taps into the hype surrounding thermally stable or thermoresistant polishing pads while implementing their own ideas. The advantages of thermally stable polishing pads are clear. There is consistently controllable paint or clearcoat removal during the polishing process, as the foam does not lose its hardness due to heat. This ensures that even at higher RPMs, the pressure can be maintained without a drop in cutting performance. The cell structure is also preserved, leading to optimal cooling and minimizing compression. Based on the experience with extremely fast heavy cut polishes like 3D Car Care 510 and the universal 3D One Hybrid, Detail Passion has realized additional special properties in the polishing foam.

This can quickly result in unwanted dry running, especially with medium-hard pads. DP Pro Therminators are optimized for large stroke random orbiters like the Rupes LHR15, ShineMate EX620, Makikato POC, Flex XFE, generating either impressively fast material removal or a high-gloss finish depending on your choice. DP Pro Therminator polishing pads can be optionally complemented with heavy cut polishing pads made of hybrid wool or microfiber or used exclusively as a complete solution.
