Gyeon's Q2 Primer is a gloss finish polish and a primer based on silicon dioxide for subsequent glass ceramic coatings. Q2 Primer has been specifically designed for highly sensitive paints. It creates an ultra-smooth surface that is perfectly prepared for silicone coatings. Since Q2 Primer can simply be polished out without the need for degreasers, the risk of scratches from harsh degreasers is eliminated. Crystal Clear Finish Perfect for Any Ceramic Coating Q2 Primer leaves a perfectly prepared surface for subsequent ceramic coatings from all imaginable manufacturers such as Gyeon, CarPro, and Gtechniq. The paint can either be cleaned after treatment with Q2M Prep or coated directly after a curing time of 24 hours - or 12 hours at room temperature. In our tests, Gyeon Q2 Primer has proven to be a better alternative to the similarly effective CarPro Essence. When using highly solvent-based coatings like Gtechniq's high-end coatings, the curing time of 12 hours must be strictly observed!
