With the DP Pro Therminator polishing pads, the German manufacturer Detail Passion takes on the hype of thermally stable or heat-resistant polishing pads while also incorporating its own ideas. The advantages of thermally stable polishing pads are clear. Continuous controllable paint and clear coat removal during the polishing process is ensured, as the foam does not lose its compression hardness due to heat exposure. This allows for maintaining pressure even at higher RPMs, thus preventing any drop in cutting performance. The cell structure is also preserved, resulting in optimal cooling and minimized compression. Based on experience with extremely fast heavy cut polishes such as 3D Car Care 510 and the versatile 3D One Hybrid, Detail Passion has realized special additional properties in the polishing foam.

Super Heavy Cut to Finish: DP Pro Therminator Polishing Pads for Rotary and Random Orbital Use

Unlike other polishing pads made from thermally stable foam, the composition of the DP Pro Therminators places special emphasis on cell structure and polish distribution. Despite the advantages of conventional thermopads, uneven or no distribution of polish can occur during application or distribution due to the cell structure. Especially with medium hard pads, this can quickly lead to undesirable dry polishing. DP Pro Therminators are optimized for large orbitals such as the Rupes LHR15, ShineMate EX620, Makita POC, and Flex XFE, producing either impressively fast material removal or a high-gloss finish, depending on the choice. DP Pro Therminator polishing pads can optionally be complemented with Heavy Cut polishing pads made from hybrid wool or microfiber or used solely as a complete solution.

Eigentlich gut, aber...

Wurde gebeten, meine Einschätzung zu teilen: Das Pad läuft ruhig und wirkt hochwertig, aber bei härteren Lacksystemen fehlt mir etwas Cut. Für weichere Lacke passt’s aber.

Ich geb hier gern Feedback, da ich danach gefragt wurde. Im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Pads ist das hier stabiler. Klett hält bombenfest, nix franzt aus.

Wurde um eine Rückmeldung gebeten. Das Pad ist fest genug, aber nicht zu hart – kommt gut in Vertiefungen und lässt sich kontrolliert fahren. Bin echt zufrieden.

Ich wurde gebeten, eine Bewertung abzugeben – mach ich gern. Das Pad bleibt auch bei längeren Durchgängen formstabil und läuft schön ruhig. Für grobere Defekte echt gut geeignet.

Fantastische Pads

Ich habe mir einmal die komplette Range in 75er Pads bestellt, alle laufen hervorragend und sind besser als die doch eher unausgereiften Thermopads des Herstellers mit den bunten Farben. Besonders das orangene und das weinrote sind im Alltagseinsatz nicht mehr wegzudenken. Super Arbeit, Jungs!
