"Ceramic Buff Splitted" by "Detail Passion" is a special version of the Ceramic Buff cloth series. Ceramic Buff Splitted is made of highly absorbent terry fiber and features an ultrasonic cut edge. It is specifically designed for polishing or removing excess oily ceramic coatings and toppings. With the increasing performance of base layers of two-layer ceramic coatings, like Gtechniq Crystal Serum, the removal and polishing of toppings can be time-consuming and challenging. This is due to the base layer causing a "sweating reaction" or bead formation of the solvent that must be completely removed and polished for a crystal-clear paint finish. Ceramic Buff Splitted: Special Microfiber Cloth for Two-Layer Ceramic Coatings Ceramic Buff Splitted simplifies the polishing of "sweating" ceramic coatings, which particularly occurs with toppings or sacrificial layers. However, Ceramic Buff Pearl can also serve as a second cloth after leveling the ceramic coating, thereby minimizing the consumption of microfiber cloths during processing. After almost giving up the search for suitable production partners for drying towels, cleaning cloths, washing gloves, and polishing cloths made from microfiber at the beginning of 2019, we unexpectedly received an email from a former employee of a large US manufacturer of aircraft parts. The retiree has a connection to our founder, the Baum family, through '15 channels' and asked if he could support us in our endeavor. Besides very good contacts to some US manufacturers, he was able to connect us with a small but fine manufacturer of 'Microfiber Products' in South Korea. With hope, we awaited the first samples and were sure right after opening the package that we had found the right partner.

Even though one might think everything is clear now, we still needed to coordinate materials, acceptance quantities, cuts, processing methods, and many other small details. After all, "every detail" counts in detailing. After further tests in washing machines, on various paint types with different detailers, coatings (ceramic coatings), different water qualities (drying towels), waxes, and vehicles, we were able to finalize a first order. What is summed up here in a few sentences took almost half a year in reality. We couldn't limit ourselves to one manufacturer; we had to consult our new friend, the retiree from the USA, again and ask if he has further contacts for gloves and towels for removing ceramic coatings. After further tests and many conference calls, we found another suitable producer.
Now the question was of course: What do we call our microfiber products? We wanted to give them a pleasant and international name. From a variety of ideas came "Detail Passion", which represents an assessment of what characterized us in the production of microfiber products and simultaneously gives a hint as to what the towels should be used for: "Passion for Detail". After "Detail Passion" became a registered trademark across Europe, and the first deliveries reached us in the fall of 2019, Detail Passion has been our line for microfiber products. Since then, every delivery has been controlled by us in several samples!
