And just when you think it can't get any better, something comes from somewhere...
After almost giving up our search for suitable production partners for drying cloths, cleaning cloths, wash mitts, and polishing cloths made of microfiber early 2019, we unexpectedly received an email from a former employee of a large US manufacturer of aircraft parts. The retiree is connected to our company founder, the Baum family, through "15 corners" and asked if he could support us in some way with our project. In addition to excellent contacts with some US manufacturers, he was able to connect us with a small but fine manufacturer of "Microfiber Products" in South Korea. We eagerly awaited the first samples and were convinced right after opening the package that we had found the right partner.

Even though one might think everything is clear now, we still had to coordinate fabrics, quantities, cuts, processing methods, and many other small details. Because in detailing, attention to "every detail" matters. After further tests in washing machines, on different paint types with various detailers, coatings (ceramic seals), different water qualities (drying cloths), waxes, and vehicles, we could finalize our first order. What is summarized in a few sentences here took almost half a year in reality. And it couldn't be limited to one manufacturer; we had to consult our new friend, the retiree from the USA, again and ask if he had any further contacts for gloves and cloths used to remove ceramic coatings. After further tests and many conference calls, we found another suitable producer.
Now, of course, the question was: What do we call our microfiber products? We wanted to give it a catchy and international name. From various ideas, "Detail Passion" emerged, which reflects what characterized us in the production of microfiber products and also indicates what the cloths should be used for: "Passion for Detail". After "Detail Passion" became a registered trademark across Europe and the first deliveries reached us in autumn 2019, Detail Passion became our line of microfiber products. Every delivery has since been checked by us in various samples!

Shortly after, the Detail Passion Dry&Buff microfiber cloths (polishing and drying cloth), Detail Passion Microfiber Drying Twisted (drying cloth), and Detail Passion Microfiber Glass Double40 (glass cleaning) became our top sellers. Our wash mitt, the Detail Passion Paintwork-Lover, has only been in the program since spring 2020 and has become a hidden gem in the scene due to its unique properties.

While writing this text, the latest project under this label has already started: The Detail Passion Pad Factory. High-quality sponge polishing discs, foam pads, and microfiber polishing pads from European production with foams and microfiber products from several manufacturers according to our specifications in various sizes. Here too, it becomes evident that we have hit the mark because the quality, properties, and price are just right.
