Developed and produced in the USA, the Detail Passion team has brought out the hottest tool for car detailing. The new Hybrid Wool Pad, marketed under the bold name "Angry Red Lake Pad", features an extreme cut while delivering a high-gloss finish. The construction includes a powerful Velcro interface, a heat-resistant and cooling prepolymer foam interface, followed by a blend of 100% lambswool and infused nano-polyester foam. This heat-resistant high-performance polishing pad can be used with rotary, dual-action, and forced rotation polishers.

The blue foam interface is approximately 9mm high, with the Hybrid Wool layer at around 6mm, resulting in a total height of 15mm. The foams and adhesives used are solvent-resistant. Additionally, the polishing pad exhibits maximum durability and toughness, making it perfect for high-performance polishers like Flex, Rupes, or ShineMate.

From Quick One Step to Orange Peel Removal: The Purple Hybrid Wool Pad

Typical applications of the Hybrid Wool "Angry Red Lake Pad" range from very quick cutting and removing significant paint defects to one-step polishing and orange peel removal. The polishing pad is ideal for use with free-spinning dual-action polishers such as the Rupes LHR15 Mark Series, Flex XFE Series, or forced rotation machines like Flex XCE or Rupes LK900 Mille. When used with rotary polishers, material removal is enhanced, allowing for effective orange peel removal. The stable Hybrid Wool construction ensures no energy is lost through fluttering fibers when using the dual-action polisher. The pad is compatible with all major polishes from brands like Sonax, Meguiars, Koch Chemie, 3D, and Effectum.

Detail Passion has the DP Pro Polishing Pad manufactured by a US manufacturer under strict guidelines and quality control. This US manufacturer holds a patent on the blend and the manufacturing process of lambswool and infused foam. The polishing pad is initially made for 75mm and 125mm backing plates. The 125mm version has a center hole that makes placement easier and provides better cooling.
