The DP Pro Therminator polishing pads from German manufacturer Detail Passion embrace the hype surrounding thermally stable or heat-resistant polishing pads, while integrating their own ideas. The benefits of thermally stable polishing pads are clear. Continuous, controllable paint and clear coat removal during the polishing process is ensured, as the foam does not lose its compression hardness due to heat exposure. This means that even at higher RPMs, the pressure can be maintained, resulting in no drop in cutting power. The cell structure is preserved, leading to optimal cooling and minimizing compression. Based on experience with extremely fast heavy cut polishes like 3D Car Care 510 and the versatile 3D One Hybrid, Detail Passion has implemented special further properties in the polishing foam.

Unlike other polishing pads made from thermally stable foam, the composition of the DP Pro Therminators pays special attention to the cell structure and distribution of polish. Despite the benefits of conventional thermal pads, the cell structure can lead to uneven or even no distribution of polish during initial application or distribution. This can quickly lead to undesirable dry running, especially with medium hardness pads. DP Pro Therminators are optimized for large orbitals like the Rupes LHR15, ShineMate EX620, Makita POC, and Flex XFE, producing either impressively fast material removal or a high-gloss finish, depending on your choice. DP Pro Therminator polishing pads can be supplemented with heavy cut pads made from hybrid wool or microfiber or used as a standalone solution.
