Innovative Interface Pad – Pure Power Transfer Without Loss

The specially developed interface pad of the Therminator+ polishing pads follows a clear principle: maximum and low-loss transmission of eccentric movement. While many pads rely on soft layers to dampen vibrations or offer supposed cooling—often reducing performance—Detail Passion focuses on real results.

A rigid, purposely heavier interface foam minimizes energy loss through deformation, transferring oscillations almost entirely to the paint surface. This ensures higher cut, stable self-rotation, and a consistent finish instead of subjective comfort effects.

Vibration damping is applied only where it matters: the grey interface reduces vibrations via a special open-cell structure—without compromising crucial power transfer.

Therminator+ Foams – Peak Performance for Every Application

The Therminator+ polishing pads use exclusively developed high-performance foams that maintain structure and firmness even under extreme conditions. Thermally stable, chemically resistant, and fully recoverable, they enable maximum power transfer with minimized vibration. This allows softer foam variants without sacrificing cut, delivering unmatched comfort and a superior finish across all foam types.

The blue and black foams are proven from the original Therminator series. The orange foam, however, is completely newly developed for the Therminator+ series and deliberately not comparable to previous orange pads. Combined with the interface technology, especially the blue foam delivers an impressive fusion of cut and finish, reducing many steps.

Optimal Thickness and Thermal Stability

With an overall thickness of approx. 28mm, including an 8mm interface pad, the Therminator+ polishing pad ensures consistent performance even under heavy use. Its increased height promotes better heat distribution, preventing overheating during long polishing sessions.

Center Hole for Maximum Cooling on Modern Machines

A key advantage of the Therminator+ pads is the integrated center hole. Especially with modern 75mm battery polishers from Mirka, ShineMate, and Kovax featuring brushless motors and speeds up to 8000 rpm, it enables efficient heat dissipation.
