The German cult brand Detail Passion manufactures its high-pile Hawk Edgeless polishing cloth in South Korea under strict quality control. The cloth is made from 100% Korean split microfiber with an ultra-soft blend of 70% polyester and 30% polyamide. This blend guarantees absolute scratch-free performance even on very sensitive solid colors and soft clear coats after a high-gloss finishing polish.

The Detail Passion team had very high standards when searching for the perfect fiber to work with detailers, spray sealants, and waxes. It’s no surprise it took almost a full year. After intensive tests on various paint panels, including solid colors, paints without clear coats, matte paints, and wraps, key parameters were determined. Numerous quality assurance tests followed with several test shipments and prototypes. The result was the launch of Hawk Edgeless in mid-2019, which has since become increasingly popular in the car care scene. Initially available in sky blue, Hawk Edgeless is now also offered in appealing sea blue with a multicolor effect.

Hawk Edgeless is available in the classic size of 40x40 cm or as a Baby Hawk Edgeless in 20x20 cm. It’s perfect for removing and polishing off detailers, waxes, high-gloss polishes, and sealants. Suitable for paint, chrome, glass, piano black, carbon, fiberglass, and gelcoats. Especially recommended for waterless or low-water washes. Each cloth is individually packed in a resealable plastic bag with washing instructions. Hawk Edgeless features ultrasonic-cut edges for no hard edges. For washing, we recommend P&S Rags2Riches or similar microfiber detergents; regular liquid detergents without fabric softeners are also suitable.
