Designed for maximum cut, Lake Country's HDO microfiber pads are top-of-the-line. Utilizing a special foam backing plate, these pads significantly reduce lateral and horizontal movement, thereby minimizing frictional heat, which can become problematic with powerful dual-action and forced rotation polishers. The microfiber fibers, available in various hardness levels and abrasiveness, are resistant to heat and material fatigue. These pads are optimized for high cut, ensuring quick correction of scratches and defects. Despite the high demands when used with powerful polishers like Rupes and Flex, Lake Country microfiber pads are exceptionally durable, justifying their higher price. Superior Pressure Distribution and Design: Lake Country HDO Pads Starting from 130mm, the Lake Country HDO microfiber pads feature a heat-dissipating center chamber with a cooling hole for precise positioning. Though the HDO pads are 30-40% more expensive than the newer Lake Country SDO pads, the price difference is warranted, especially when used with forced rotation models like the Flex XCE 10-8 or the Rupes LK900e mille. Lake Country microfibers are also more resistant and easier to clean when paired with newer high-performance polishes such as Rupes D-A Coarse Compound, Sonax Ultimate Cut 6-3, and Sonax CutMax abrasive paste. Lake Country HDO Microfiber Pads Available in Two Abrasiveness Levels The microfiber pads from Lake Country's HDO series are available in different abrasiveness levels. The pad with the blue backing offers maximum cut and achieves an acceptable gloss result. The pad with the orange backing provides slightly less cut but still delivers a good gloss finish. With the right polish, the "orange" microfiber pad can be used for one-step paint corrections. The HDO Pads Come in Three Different Foam Types HDO Microfiber Pad with Blue Backing: Designed for maximum cut, ideal for scratch, swirl, and oxidation removal. Perfect for quick paint defect corrections. HDO Microfiber Pad with Orange Backing: Medium cut, removes moderate paint defects while providing good finishing, suitable for one-step paint corrections. The Lake Country HDO Pads are Available in All Sizes: Hook-and-loop backing, polishing surface: 80/90mm, 130/140mm, 150/165mm Pad thickness: 13mm What Makes Lake Country Foam Pads Unique? The high-quality foam combined with a two-layer system makes Lake Country Manufacturing's HDO pads exceptional. With the differing properties of the foams used, the benefits of thin and thick pads are combined. The light gray layer reduces lateral or horizontal movement, thereby minimizing friction heat, which can quickly become problematic with powerful dual-action and forced rotation polishers. The polishing foam, marked by different hardness and abrasiveness colors, is inherently heat resistant and does not easily weaken. Nonetheless, the two-layer concept provides more consistent polishing results compared to the cheaper SDO pads, which lack the cooling and distortion-free layer. Pressure Distribution and Design at the Highest Level: Lake Country HDO Pads From 130mm onwards, Lake Country HDO pads feature a heat-dissipating center chamber with a cooling hole for precise positioning. Although Lake Country HDO pads are 30-40% more expensive than the newer Lake Country SDO pads, the price difference is justified when using forced rotation machines such as the Flex XCE 10-8 or the Rupes LK900e Mille. Lake Country Padwasher System 4000™: Pre-Information on Availability The System 4000™ from Lake Country is a revolutionary polishing pad cleaning system. Unlike other systems, the cleaning of polishing pads can be carried out directly with the polisher in hand. This prevents polishing residue from drying and optimizes workflow. The patented Pure Flo technology is a closed-loop cleaning system. The user controls how much cleaning liquid flows into the system by pressing the pump. With the System 4000™ pad cleaner, polishing pads are cleaned faster, more thoroughly, and more gently than ever imagined. Two water chambers for flushing foam, microfiber, hybrid fiber, and wool pads The cleaning system consists of two separate chambers for clean and used water. Fresh cleaning water is drawn from the lower section, optionally mixed with "Snappy Clean Booster" or other pad cleaning agents. The upper chamber holds the already used dirty water. The user-controlled water flow makes the system efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly. For less dirty pads, the cleaning water in the upper chamber can be reused multiple times. Depending on the type of pad or level of contamination, the user decides how often to reuse the water. Easy cleaning of polishing pads with rotary, forced rotation, or dual-action polishers To start, simply remove the wastewater collection tray from the cleaning system, fill the cleaning tray with water and cleaning agent, and reinsert the collection tray. At low speed, the dirty pad can now be cleaned directly with the polisher. The water amount is controlled by pressing on the washing chamber. Once the pad is sufficiently cleaned, the polisher is lifted, and the water is spun out of the pad or sponge by increasing the speed. The holder of the collection tray is designed to ensure that the spun-out water lands back in the collection tray. Lake Country Padwasher System 4000: Order directly at Chemical-Shark.de! Fast, efficient, and economical cleaning of polishing pads directly with the polisher in hand Compatible with rotary, dual-action, and forced rotation polishers Cleans all pad sizes made of foam, microfiber, hybrid fibers, and wool Environmentally friendly with flexible reuse of cleaning water as needed Patented and developed by Lake Country: a leading manufacturer of polishing pads and sponges Official distribution through Chemical-Shark.de Two modes: Standard and closed-loop cleaning cycle The system supports two modes. To reuse the cleaning solution, the appropriate screws on the collection tray can be removed. If the cleaning cycle is not intended for reuse, the screws remain closed or inserted. These modes are also explained in the video. Lake Country Pad Washer 4000 vs. Lake Country Pad Washer 3000 The Pad Washer 4000 is a direct advancement of its predecessor, the 3000. Unlike the 3000, it no longer requires filter inserts, and the splash guard has been replaced. Residue separation is now managed differently, and the splash guard is rendered unnecessary by a taller edge and the yellow edge cover. These changes, along with an improved pump, make the system more robust and easier to use. Chemical-Shark.de Recommendations In our opinion, the Pad Washer System 4000™ is most effective when pads are cleaned immediately after use. For professional use, we recommend always keeping the cleaning system ready. While all-purpose cleaners (APCs) can be used, cleaning is more reliable with specialized cleaners from Lake Country or Wolfgang. You can find suitable cleaning agents listed under "Accessories" at the bottom of this page. The operation is explained in the application video, also available at the bottom of this page.
With the Standard Duty Orbital Pads - short "SDO" - Lake Country Manufacturing is responding to a request and recommendation from many detailers. With the Collapsed Cell Structure Pads - short CCS Pads - Lake Country has revolutionized the art of uncompromising paint corrections. CCS Pads are flat foam polishing pads designed for dual-action and forced rotation polishers with a patented surface design. It's important to note that CCS Pads are fundamentally suitable for rotary polishers, especially when their cutback shape allows for a larger polishing surface on a smaller backing plate. All CCS Pads available from the official distributor Chemical-Shark.de are produced in cutback shape. Patented CCS Cell Structure Offers Numerous Advantages The surface of CCS Pads is equipped with small pockets that feature a closed cell structure inside through a special process, while the foam of the polishing pad remains open-pored. This property enables significantly more efficient use of polish with CCS Pads. The polish penetrates the pocket but not the polishing pad, allowing it to be worked for much longer. At the same time, the cell structure is better cooled, and the pad cannot dry out due to drying polish. With the new HDO CCS pads, the market leader Lake Country combines two of its best technologies for the highest quality polishing work. HDO pads have been an unmatched and unrivaled benchmark in the industry for years due to the combination of the most durable foams, heat dissipation, and pressure consistency. HDO stands for "Heavy Duty Orbital", indicating that this technology is primarily designed for modern dual-action and forced rotation polishers. Another key technology provided by Lake Country is CCS, which stands for Collapsed Cell Structure. The surface of the CCS is equipped with small pockets whose interior has a closed cell structure through a special process, even though the foam of the polishing pad is otherwise open-pored. This feature allows for considerably more economical use of polish with CCS pads. The polish penetrates the pocket but does not enter the polishing pad itself, allowing it to be processed for a much longer time. At the same time, the cell structure is better cooled, preventing the pad from drying out due to drying polish. The new HDO CCS pads offer both technologies in one pad series. The US manufacturer surprises the market by producing these pads at the same price level as "regular" HDO pads. Pressure Distribution and Design at the Highest Level: Lake Country HDO CCS Pads From 130mm, the Lake Country HDO CCS pads come with a heat-dissipating center chamber and a milling hole for additional cooling and precise positioning. Although Lake Country HDO CCS pads are 30-40% more expensive than the newer Lake Country SDO pads, the price difference is justified when used with forced rotation polishers such as the Flex XCE 10-8 or the Rupes LK900e mille. Lake Country foams are also resilient and easier to clean when using newer high-performance polishes like the 3D ACA-XTRA 510 or 3D One Hybrid. Optimized for Consistent Polishing Performance and High Durability: Lake Country HDO CCS at Chemical-Shark.de The high-quality foam of SDO and HDO polishing pads ensures consistent polishing performance and high durability. Even at a large stroke and high oscillation frequency, such as with the Rupes LHR21e Mark III, the pads remain stable and run smoothly. The HDO CCS Pads are Available in 3 Different Foam Types Blue: Designed for maximum cut, scratch, swirl, and oxidation removal. Perfect for quick paint defect corrections Orange: Medium cut, removal of moderate paint defects with good finishing Black: Black finishing, very soft foam for high-gloss polishes and for applying and processing waxes and sealants The Lake Country HDO CCS Pads are Available in All Sizes in Our Stock: Hook and loop backing, polishing surface: 80/90mm, 130/140mm, 150/165mm Pad thickness: 25mm Foam: Cutting blue, Medium Cut orange, Finishing black What Makes Lake Country Foam Pads So Unique? Especially for lease returns or vehicle sales, a fur-free interior delivers a polished look and preserves value. This makes it both effective and eco-friendly. It saves you time and effort, especially during shedding seasons or frequent pet transport. How to Use for Best Results Start by vacuuming the area roughly to remove loose dirt. Then, use the tool with light pressure in smooth strokes over the fabric. The pet hair bundles visibly and can then be easily picked up or vacuumed away. For heavily soiled spots, repeat the process until fully clean. Detailing Option for Smaller Areas For smaller spots, seams, or difficult-to-reach places in the car, the Lilly Brush Mini Pet Hair Detailer is available. This mini tool is perfect for precise detailing while the Pro Pet Hair Tool Kit is unbeatable on large surfaces. LUMINUS Diamond PRO Ceramic Elastomer Coating 50ml is the most advanced sealing solution in the LUMINUS portfolio, designed for maximum chemical resistance and versatile applications. Its unique formula combines ceramic elastomer technology with nano-carbon particles as a solid component, creating an extremely durable yet flexible protective layer. This flexibility makes it particularly favored for use on vehicle wraps and sensitive surfaces, as it adapts perfectly and prevents cracking. Highest chemical resistance in the LUMINUS portfolio – resistant to aggressive acidic and alkaline cleaners Ceramic elastomer technology with nano-carbon particles for maximum flexibility and protection Ideal for wraps thanks to its elastic structure – prevents cracking and remains stable over time Self-healing effect for minor scratches, especially when used with PPF protective films Extremely long-lasting up to 5 years on paint and wrap High paint smoothness and hydrophobic properties, even on pre-sealed surfaces In our tests, the LUMINUS Diamond PRO Ceramic Elastomer Coating demonstrated impressively high resistance to the harshest alkaline and acidic cleaners. The surface boasted noticeably high paint smoothness and pronounced hydrophobicity – even on already pre-sealed wraps. These attributes make it the ideal choice for the highest protection requirements and delicate surfaces. The manufacturer promotes the LUMINUS Diamond PRO Ceramic Elastomer Coating with self-healing effects, which – at least with very fine scratches – can indeed show a filling effect. In practice, however, this effect is most evident when the coating is used in conjunction with a PPF protective film. Through this synergy, the coating can last for many years on the film surface. Regardless of the substrate – whether paint or wrap – a durability of up to five years is to be expected.

Many enthusiasts cherish the warm, deep glow that carnauba provides, which synthetic coatings often can't replicate. Particularly on classic, solid, and high-end metallic paints, it creates a captivating depth effect. Classic cars, youngtimers, and collector vehicles especially benefit from premium wax. It protects without forming permanent chemical bonds, keeping the paint easy to maintain or fully cleanable of old wax layers – crucial for historic or original finishes. Besides its outstanding shine, LUMINUS Eclipse Wax excels functionally. Its pronounced beading forms perfectly shaped water drops, while fast sheeting ensures quick water drainage. This means less residual water, reduced dirt adhesion, and easier washing. Moreover, carnauba is a renewable resource, harvested from Brazilian carnauba palm leaves. LUMINUS Graphene PRO Coating 50 ml is a high-end paint sealant designed for professionals and dedicated vehicle care enthusiasts. Developed with advanced graphene technology, it offers an uncompromising combination of maximum surface hardness, intense color depth, and exceptional durability. The coating creates an extremely resilient, chemical-resistant protective layer with pronounced hydrophobic and antistatic properties, which not only protects the paint long-term but also significantly facilitates vehicle cleaning. High chemical resistance Deep gloss & color intensification Strong hydrophobic & antistatic Up to 3 years durability High layer thickness due to graphene In our tests, the LUMINUS Graphene PRO Coating proved to be exceptionally resilient – it showed no weaknesses even against aggressive acidic and alkaline cleaners. The paint surface consistently impressed with remarkable smoothness and extreme hydrophobicity. Unlike many comparable graphene products, the PRO version, thanks to its special antistatic additives, also effectively defends against dust buildup, which often occurs during the summer months – a key advantage for a consistently clean vehicle surface. Particularly impressive about the LUMINUS Graphene PRO Coating is the extraordinary color intensification and the deep mirror-like gloss that emerges after application. The included graphene solid particles create an above-average layer thickness on the paint surface, responsible for this impressive optical performance. This effect is especially noticeable on dark or vividly colored paints – it ranks among the most intense we've observed in a coating so far. The manufacturer indicates a durability of up to three years for the LUMINUS Graphene PRO Graphene Coating – a figure that has already proven to be realistic in practice. With consistent maintenance and careful hand washing, however, experience shows that a significantly longer lifespan can be achieved. The stable layer structure and high chemical resistance of the coating suggest the potential for top-notch performance over several years.

The LUMINUS Graphene SP Spray V2.0 Graphene Coating (200ml) is an innovative spray sealant designed for the highest demands in vehicle care. With its advanced Graphene technology, it combines outstanding protection with impressive deep gloss and very easy application. The unique formula forms a resilient protective layer over the paint, offering long-lasting protection against UV rays, dirt, water, and chemical influences. As a modern Anti-Pollution Coating, this product actively suppresses re-soiling due to its extremely hydrophobic and dirt-repellent properties. At the same time, the high smoothness of the surface ensures that the vehicle is easier to clean and stays clean longer – ideal for car enthusiasts and professional detailers who demand maximum performance. Extremely hydrophobic and dirt-repellent (Anti-Pollution Coating) High gloss and intense color deepening, particularly on dark paints High chemical resistance, even against acidic and solvent-based cleaners Very economical: approx. 20 ml is sufficient for a complete vehicle Up to 12 months protection with proper application and hand wash We personally met the Korean manufacturer Luminus at Automechanika 2024 in Frankfurt. In an open and exceptionally friendly atmosphere, we were handed numerous products for testing – including the first version of the spray sealant SP Spray 1.0. After application, we found that the hydrophobic properties initially did not develop as expected. Our feedback was taken seriously and Luminus informed us that full curing could take up to five days – a detail that fundamentally changed our assessment. The revised Version 2.0 cures significantly faster and has since been regularly used in our demanding tests. In all tests, LUMINUS Graphene SP Spray V2.0 demonstrated outstanding durability – even against aggressive cleaners. The achieved surface smoothness and the pronounced dirt and water repellency resemble more a high-quality ceramic coating than a conventional spray sealant. Despite a price of around 50 euros for 200 ml, the product proves to be economical, as it is extremely efficient. When applied as recommended with a dispenser and applicator, even a small amount is sufficient for complete vehicle sealing. In combination with regular hand washing, a durability of up to one year can be achieved – a clear advantage over many conventional products. The delivery includes two spray heads and one dispenser. The oily consistency allows application on multiple vehicle areas simultaneously. After an air-drying time of 5 to 10 minutes, the surface is polished with a microfiber cloth, followed by a second, pressure-free polishing process after another five minutes for a perfect high-gloss finish. After application, the vehicle should rest for at least 12 hours in a garage or protected environment to allow the sealant to fully cure. A chemical wash should be avoided in the first seven days to ensure the product's full performance.
