Product information "Koch Chemie Micro Cut & Finish P3.01 250ml"
Micro Cut & Finish is a cutting-edge machine polish designed for the permanent removal of polishing swirls, holograms, fine scratches, and sanding marks up to 3000 grit on all paint systems (including scratch-resistant ones) while providing long-lasting sealing with high gloss and smoothness. Utilizing highly specialized, extremely uniform abrasives, it achieves a brilliant and durable high-gloss finish even on dark and sensitive colors under extreme lighting conditions. Holograms and fine scratches are mechanically removed rather than simply covered up as is often the case. Micro Cut & Finish is economical, easy to polish, and easy to wipe off. Contains carnauba wax and non-volatile silicones. Abrasiveness: 3.2 Gloss level: 9.5
All-in-One polish with carnauba wax
Non-volatile silicones, making it suitable for use with paint systems
For optimal results, we recommend using our Micro Cut Pad with an eccentric polisher with forced rotation (e.g., ShineMate EX620 and 605, high RPM). Alternatively, a rotary polisher can be used. Completely saturate the pad with polish before use. Evenly distribute the polish on the surface to be treated while the machine is off, and then polish in a cross pattern with moderate pressure until a transparent film appears, i.e., until the aluminum oxide is completely broken down. Follow up with light pressure to refine the finish. Do not use the pads for other products interchangeably. For scratch and streak-free removal of polish residues, we recommend our seamless professional microfiber towel cut by ultrasound. Recommended polishing pads: DP Pro Therminator orange and maroon.

Designed for maximum cut, the Lake Country HDO microfiber pads are top performers. Utilizing a special foam backing plate, these pads reduce lateral and horizontal movement, minimizing friction heat that can become problematic with powerful dual action and force rotation polishers. The microfiber material, available in various hardness and abrasiveness levels, is resistant to heat and material fatigue. These fibers are engineered for high cut efficiency, enabling quick correction of scratches and defects. Despite the high loads typically experienced with high-performance polishers from Rupes and Flex, these pads remain durable, justifying their higher price point. Top-Level Pressure Distribution and Design: Lake Country HDO Pads Starting from 130mm, the Lake Country HDO microfiber pads feature a heat-dissipating center chamber and a cooling hole for precise positioning. While the HDO pads are 30-40% pricier than the newer SDO pads, this price difference is justified especially when used with forced oscillation polishers like the Flex XCE 10-8 or the Rupes LK900e mille. Lake Country microfibers are also resistant and easier to clean when using advanced polishes such as Rupes D-A Coarse Compound, Sonax Ultimate Cut 6-3, and Sonax CutMax abrasive paste. Lake Country HDO Microfiber Pads in Two Abrasiveness Levels The HDO series microfiber pads from Lake Country are available in different abrasiveness levels. The pad with blue backing provides maximum cut and acceptable gloss results. The pad with orange backing offers slightly less cut but still achieves good gloss results. With the right polish, the "orange" microfiber pad is perfect for one-step paint corrections. The HDO Pads Are Available in 3 Different Foam Types HDO microfiber pad with blue backing: Designed for maximum cut, effective for scratch, swirl, and oxidation removal. Perfect for quick paint defect corrections. HDO microfiber pad with orange backing: Medium cut, effectively removes medium paint defects while providing a good finish, suitable for one-step paint corrections. We Stock All Available Sizes of Lake Country HDO Pads: Hook and loop backing, polishing surface: 80/90mm, 130/140mm, 150/165mm Pad thickness: 13mm What Makes Lake Country Foam Pads Unique? Extreme durability and resulting high stability are notable characteristics of Lake Country pads. Particularly in medium cut and finishing, it’s the excellent working feel that Lake Country foam provides, leading to consistently perfect results!

With the DP Pro Therminator polishing pad, the German manufacturer Detail Passion taps into the hype surrounding thermally stable or thermoresistant polishing pads while also realizing their own ideas. The advantages of thermally stable polishing pads are clear. Consistent control of paint and clear coat removal during the polishing process is ensured, as the foam does not lose its compressive hardness due to heat. This means that even at higher RPMs, pressure can be maintained, preventing a drop in cutting performance. Additionally, the cell structure is preserved, leading to optimal cooling and minimizing compression. Based on experience with extremely fast Heavy Cut polishes such as 3D Car Care 510 and the versatile 3D One Hybrid, Detail Passion has implemented special features in the polishing foam. DP Pro Therminator white - Super Heavy Cut for strong paint defects DP Pro Therminator orange - Medium Cut for One Step, All in One, or medium-strength polishes DP Pro Therminator maroon - Medium Polish for medium polishes and finishing DP Pro Therminator black - Gloss finish for sensitive paints or extreme gloss Super Heavy Cut to Finish: DP Pro Therminator Polishing Pads for Rotary and Orbital Use In contrast to other polishing pads made from thermally stable foam, the formulation of the DP Pro Therminator pays particular attention to cell structure and polish distribution. Despite the advantages of conventional thermal pads, the cell structure can lead to uneven or no polish distribution during start-up or application. Especially with medium-hard pads, this can quickly lead to undesirable dry running. DP Pro Therminators are optimized for large orbitals like the Rupes LHR15, ShineMate EX620, Makikato POC, Flex XFE, generating either impressively fast material removal or a high-gloss finish, depending on the choice. DP Pro Therminator polishing pads can optionally be complemented with Heavy Cut pads made of Hybrid Wool or Microfiber, or used alone as a complete solution.
The DP Pro Therminator polishing pad by Detail Passion embraces the trend of thermally stable or thermoresistant polishing pads, while integrating unique ideas. The benefits of thermally stable polishing pads are clear. They ensure consistent control over paint and clear coat removal throughout the polishing process, as the foam retains its compressive hardness despite heat exposure. This allows maintaining pressure even at higher RPMs without a drop in cutting performance. Additionally, the cellular structure is preserved, leading to optimal cooling and minimizing compression. Based on experience with extremely fast heavy cut polishes like 3D Car Care 510 and the versatile 3D One Hybrid, Detail Passion has incorporated special properties into the polishing foam. DP Pro Therminator white - Super Heavy Cut for severe paint defects DP Pro Therminator orange - Medium Cut for One Step, All in One, or medium strength polishes DP Pro Therminator maroon - Medium Polish for medium polishes and finishes DP Pro Therminator black - Gloss finish for delicate paints or extreme gloss Super Heavy Cut to Finish: DP Pro Therminator Polishing Pads for Rotary and Random Orbital Use Unlike other polishing pads made from thermally stable foam, the composition of the DP Pro Therminator places special emphasis on cellular structure and polish distribution. Despite the benefits of conventional thermal pads, their cellular structure can sometimes lead to uneven or insufficient distribution of polish during initial application or spreading. This can quickly result in unwanted dry polishing, particularly with medium-hard pads. DP Pro Therminators are optimized for large orbitals like the Rupes LHR15, ShineMate EX620, Makita POC, and Flex XFE, delivering either impressively fast material removal or a high-gloss finish depending on your choice. DP Pro Therminator polishing pads can also be complemented with Heavy Cut polishing pads made of Hybrid Wool or Microfiber, or used as a standalone solution.
