Gtechniq ClearVision Smart Glass G1 is the leading glass sealant. Unlike ordinary water-repellent sealants that create weak physical bonds with the glass surface, G1 forms a chemical bond ensuring a long-lasting and stable performance.

The hydrophobic properties of ClearVision Smart Glass G1 enhance visibility in rain and wet conditions, providing safer driving with less strain on the eyes. It also facilitates glass cleaning of ice, insects, tree sap, and tar residues.

G1 is intended for glass surfaces only. For polycarbonate or plexiglass headlights, please use Gtechniq G5. G1 comes with a special excess remover G2 for application.

Usage Note: A 15ml bottle is sufficient for a standard windshield, while a 100ml bottle covers all windows of a vehicle. For larger vehicles, we recommend the 100ml kit.

Make sure the glass is clean. Deep-seated dirt can be polished out with Gtechniq G4. Before applying Smart Glass G1, the glass should be cleaned with a glass cleaner without smoothing additives or with an IPA solution. For maximum durability, G1 should be applied in 3 layers on the windshield. Divide the windshield into 3-4 sections from left to right. 1st Layer: Use circular motions (cloud motion) with light pressure using an AP1 Pad, ideally spending 60-90 seconds on each section. 2nd Layer: After about 5 minutes, the 1st layer should be painted over with side-to-side movements in one go. 3rd Layer: After another 5 minutes, the 2nd layer should be painted from bottom to top. Excess removal after 15 minutes: Soak another AP1 applicator with G2 and remove excess in small sections, then polish the area immediately. Wiper Blades: Treat with G1 without excess remover or clean with G6 to prevent wiper chatter. Note that wiper chatter may occur on its own after about 2 weeks.
