Crystal Serum Ultra must not be layered. To minimize water droplet risk further and enhance dirt repellency, Crystal Serum Ultra - short CSU - can be topped with EXOv5.
Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra: The Highly Durable Ceramic Coating
CSU is extremely scratch-resistant against wash scratches and other stresses. CSU is officially resistant to chemicals from pH 2 to pH 13, practical tests show that temporary exposure to pH 1 to pH 14 does not affect the coating either. Crystal Serum Ultra cannot be compared with typical resin-based ceramic coatings, as the hydrophobicity is not based on a microstructure; the product is thus very smooth and superior in dirt repellency through the combination of water and dirt rejection.
Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra: Ceramic Protection Layer for Many Years
To maintain the benefits of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra over the years, we recommend regular decontamination of the sealant and hand washing. The vehicle should be washed every 3,000 to 6,000 km at the car wash using iron removers, alkaline pre-cleaners, acidic shampoos, or acidic cleaners. This washes away contaminants that can harm the ceramic coating. If the vehicle frequently visits the car wash, it is advisable to apply EXOv5 annually to maintain dirt and water repellency.
