Gtechniq Water Repellent Coating Glass and Perspex G5 is specifically designed for acrylic surfaces but can also be applied to standard glass. G5 offers optimal dirt and water repellency, causing water to bead and flow away even without wind. This reduces the usage of wipers and enhances visibility, making driving safer. Environmental factors such as insect residues, bird droppings, and ice can be more easily removed from surfaces treated with G5.

For longer durability on real glass windshields, Gtechniq Smart Glass G1 is recommended, offering longevity of several years.

Gtechniq G5 is applied in a thin layer using a cross-hatch method or circular motions on the cleaned surface. After a drying time of 10-15 minutes, G5 is buffed off with a microfiber cloth. The coating should cure for 2 hours thereafter.
