Gtechniq Water Repellent Coating Glass and Perspex G5 are designed specifically for plexiglass surfaces but can also be applied to regular glass windows. G5 provides optimal dirt and water repellency, causing water to bead and flow off significantly, even without wind. This reduces the use of windshield wipers and improves visibility, making driving safer. Environmental factors, such as insect residues, bird droppings, and ice, are easier to remove from surfaces treated with G5.

For longer durability on real glass windshields, Gtechniq Smart Glass G1 is recommended, providing durability for several years.

Gtechniq G5 is applied in a thin layer using a crosshatch pattern or circular motions on the cleaned surface. After a ventilation time of 10-15 minutes, G5 is polished off with a microfiber cloth. The coating should cure for 2 hours afterward.
