This pad boasts an extreme cut while delivering a remarkably high-gloss finish. It features a robust hook-and-loop backing, a heat-resistant and cooling pre-polymer foam interface, followed by a blend of 100% lambswool and condensed nano-polyester foam. This heat-resistant high-performance polishing pad can be used with rotary polishers, dual-action, and forced rotation polishing machines.

The blue foam interface stands at approximately 9mm, with the Hybrid Wool layer being around 6mm thick. The total height is thus 15mm. The used foams and adhesives are resistant to solvents. Moreover, the polishing pad is characterized by maximum durability and resilience. It is perfectly suited for high-performance polishing machines like Flex, Rupes, or ShineMate.

Typical applications of the Hybrid Wool "Angry Red Lake Pad" range from very quick cutting and removal of severe paint defects to one-step polishing and orange peel removal. The polishing pad is ideal for use with free-spinning dual action polishers like the Rupes LHR15 Mark series, the Flex XFE series, or forced orbitals like the Flex XCE or Rupes LK900 Mille. When used with rotary polishers, material removal can be enhanced, allowing for effective orange peel removal. Thanks to the stable hybrid wool structure, no energy is lost through fluttering fibers, especially when using dual action polishers. The pad is compatible with all modern polishes from brands such as Sonax, Meguiars, Koch Chemie, 3D, and Effectum.

The US manufacturer holds a patent on the blend used and the production process of lambswool and condensed foam. The polishing pad is first produced for 75mm and 125mm backing plates. The 125mm version features a center hole for easier placement and improved cooling.
