Innovative Interface Pad – Maximum Power Transfer Without Fake Effects

The Therminator+ interface pad follows a clear principle: maximum and low-loss transfer of dual-action motion. While many pads rely on soft layers for vibration dampening or supposed cooling—which often causes noticeable power loss—Detail Passion focuses on true performance.

A stiff, intentionally heavy interface foam minimizes energy losses caused by deformation and transfers oscillation almost entirely to the paint surface. This results in higher cut, stable self-rotation, and an even finish instead of merely subjective comfort effects.

Targeted dampening is applied only where it matters: the grey interface reduces vibrations through a special open-cell structure—without compromising decisive power transfer.

Therminator+ Foams – Maximum Performance for Every Application

The Therminator+ polishing pads use exclusively developed high-performance foams that retain their structure and hardness even under extreme conditions. They are thermally stable, chemically resistant, and fully regenerating. Thanks to maximum power transfer with minimized vibration, softer polishing foams can be used without compromising cut. This enables unprecedented comfort and a significantly improved finish across all foam types.

The blue and black foams are proven from the original Therminator series. The orange foam is completely newly developed for Therminator+ and deliberately not comparable to the previous orange foam. Combined with the interface technology, especially the blue foam offers an impressive cut and finish combo that reduces working steps.

Optimal Construction Height and Thermal Stability

With a total height of approx. 28mm, including 8mm interface pad, the Therminator+ polishing pad provides ideal conditions for constant performance even under heavy loads. The raised design ensures better heat distribution and prevents overheating during long polishing sessions.

Center Hole for Maximum Cooling on Modern Machines

A key advantage of the Therminator+ pads is the integrated center hole. Especially on modern 75mm battery polishers from Mirka, ShineMate, and Kovax with brushless motors and speeds up to 8000 rpm, it enables efficient heat dissipation.
