Innovative Interface Pad – Maximum Power Transfer, No Pseudo Effects

The specially designed interface pad of the Therminator+ pads follows one clear principle: maximum efficient transfer of dual-action motion. While many pads rely on soft structures for vibration damping or supposed cooling – often with noticeable performance loss – Detail Passion focuses purely on true performance.

A stiff, intentionally heavier interface foam minimizes energy loss through deformation transferring oscillation almost completely to the paint surface. This results in higher cut, stable self-rotation and consistent finish instead of just subjective comfort.

Targeted damping is only applied where meaningful: The grey interface reduces vibrations through a special open-cell structure – without compromising crucial power transfer.

Therminator+ Foams – Maximum Performance for Every Application

The Therminator+ pads use exclusively developed high-performance foams that retain their structure and hardness even under extreme conditions. They are thermally stable, chemically resistant and fully recover. Thanks to maximum power transfer with minimized vibration, softer polishing foams can be used without sacrificing cut. This delivers unprecedented comfort and superior finish across all foam types.

The blue and black foams are well-known from the Therminator series and proven. The orange foam was completely redeveloped for Therminator+ and is not comparable with the previous orange foam. Combined with interface technology, especially the blue foam delivers an impressive combo of cut and finish reducing work steps.

With a total height of approx. 28mm, including an 8mm interface pad, the Therminator+ pad provides ideal conditions for constant performance even under heavy loads. The increased height improves heat distribution preventing overheating during long polishing sessions.

A key advantage of the Therminator+ pads is the integrated center hole. Especially on modern 75mm battery polishers from Mirka, ShineMate and Kovax with brushless motors and up to 8000 rpm, it enables efficient heat dissipation. This protects the pad and paint surface and greatly extends lifespan.
