A stiff, intentionally heavier interface foam minimizes energy loss due to deformation and transfers oscillation almost entirely to the paint surface, resulting in higher polish removal, stable rotation, and an even finish instead of subjective comfort effects.

The grey interface foam selectively dampens vibrations through a special open-cell structure—without compromising crucial power transfer.
