A firm, deliberately heavy interface foam minimizes energy loss from deformation and transfers oscillations almost entirely to the paint surface, ensuring higher cut rates, stable rotation, and even finishes over subjective comfort effects.

Damping is targeted where needed: the grey interface reduces vibrations via a special open-cell structure without compromising critical power transmission.
