Innovative Interface Pad – True Power Transfer Over Pseudo Effects

The Therminator+ pads’ specially designed interface pad follows a clear principle: maximum loss-free transfer of dual-action movement. While many pads use soft layers for vibration damping or supposed cooling—often reducing performance—the focus here is pure power.

A stiff, deliberately dense interface foam minimizes energy loss through deformation and transfers oscillation almost fully to the paint surface. This results in greater material removal, stable self-rotation, and a consistent finish rather than just subjective comfort effects.

Targeted damping occurs only where it makes sense: The gray interface reduces vibrations with a special open-cell structure—without compromising critical power transfer.

Therminator+ Foams – Maximum Performance for Every Use

The Therminator+ pads use exclusively developed high-performance foams that retain their structure and hardness even under extreme conditions. They are thermally stable, chemically resistant, and fully recover. Thanks to maximal power transfer combined with minimized vibration, softer polishing foams can be used deliberately without sacrificing cut, enabling unprecedented comfort and a noticeably improved finish across all foam types.

The blue and black foams are proven from the Therminator series. The orange foam, however, was completely redeveloped for the Therminator+ line and is deliberately not comparable to the previous orange foam. Combined with the interface technology, the blue foam especially delivers an impressive mix of cut and finish, reducing many steps.

With a total height of approx. 28mm, including an 8mm interface pad, the Therminator+ pad ensures constant performance even under heavy load. This increased build enhances heat distribution and prevents overheating during long polishing sessions.
