THE MESH CLAY TOWEL is a microfiber towel with an attached clay layer designed for deep cleaning of paint, glass, and plastic surfaces in cars, motorcycles, caravans, RVs, boats, and aircraft. Both the microfiber and the clay surface are extremely durable when used according to the instructions below. Deep cleaning should be performed after a thorough wash using non-waxing cleaners. Typically, deep cleaning is necessary when surfaces are to be polished, sealed, or ceramic coated afterward. This process can create holograms and fine scratches in the paint, which can be polished out manually or with a machine. Wash the vehicle thoroughly by hand with non-waxing and non-sealing detergents. We recommend starting with a thorough pre-clean using alkaline cleaners and rust removers, followed by a pH-neutral or acidic hand wash. Rinse the vehicle with clear water after washing. Application: If the water is hard, dry the vehicle first and then use THE MESH CLAY TOWEL with clay lubricants such as Optimum No Rinse, CarPro Ech2O, P&S Paint Gloss. Work in sections no larger than 1 sqm. Spray the clay lubricant onto the paint and onto the towel, and move the dark clay side of THE MESH CLAY TOWEL from left to right with light pressure over the paint. You will notice that the paint becomes noticeably smoother as the dirt film is removed. Regularly check THE MESH CLAY TOWEL for adhering contaminants and rinse it under warm water if necessary. Alternative Application: THE MESH CLAY TOWEL can also be used directly with shampoo water. However, ensure that the shampoo water is not contaminated. Check THE MESH CLAY TOWEL regularly for adhering impurities and rinse it under warm water if necessary. After Use: Rinse THE MESH CLAY TOWEL thoroughly after use and allow it to air dry with the clay side facing up. The towel can be stored back in its protective sleeve after use and drying. We recommend storing it rolled up with the clay layer facing outwards.
