With the new HDO CCS pads, the market leader Lake Country combines two of its best technologies for the highest quality polishing work. HDO pads have been an unmatched and unrivaled benchmark in the industry for years due to the combination of the most durable foams, heat dissipation, and pressure consistency. HDO stands for "Heavy Duty Orbital", indicating that this technology is primarily designed for modern dual-action and forced rotation polishers.
Another key technology provided by Lake Country is CCS, which stands for Collapsed Cell Structure. The surface of the CCS is equipped with small pockets whose interior has a closed cell structure through a special process, even though the foam of the polishing pad is otherwise open-pored. This feature allows for considerably more economical use of polish with CCS pads. The polish penetrates the pocket but does not enter the polishing pad itself, allowing it to be processed for a much longer time. At the same time, the cell structure is better cooled, preventing the pad from drying out due to drying polish. The new HDO CCS pads offer both technologies in one pad series. The US manufacturer surprises the market by producing these pads at the same price level as "regular" HDO pads.

From 130mm, the Lake Country HDO CCS pads come with a heat-dissipating center chamber and a milling hole for additional cooling and precise positioning. Although Lake Country HDO CCS pads are 30-40% more expensive than the newer Lake Country SDO pads, the price difference is justified when used with forced rotation polishers such as the Flex XCE 10-8 or the Rupes LK900e mille. Lake Country foams are also resilient and easier to clean when using newer high-performance polishes like the 3D ACA-XTRA 510 or 3D One Hybrid.

The HDO CCS Pads are Available in 3 Different Foam Types
- Blue: Designed for maximum cut, scratch, swirl, and oxidation removal. Perfect for quick paint defect corrections
- Orange: Medium cut, removal of moderate paint defects with good finishing
- Black: Black finishing, very soft foam for high-gloss polishes and for applying and processing waxes and sealants
