It uses high-quality, Tesla-approved NEXA Color paint mixtures in undiluted form – ensuring maximum color accuracy, adhesion, and durability.

Application and Properties of the Tesla Paint Pen Set

The paint pen set is specifically developed for precise touch-ups of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of Base Coat, optional Glaze, and then Clear Coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, ensuring the paint structure mimics that of Tesla exactly. Processing should ideally be done at 15–25 °C. It is recommended to check the color match on an inconspicuous area before application.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
Shake bottles vigorously before use, until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area thinly and apply multiple layers as needed. Allow sufficient time for drying between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat has completely dried. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: After the base coat (and possibly glaze) has dried, apply to seal the area and create shine. Allow at least one hour drying time for the base coat before application.
For perfect results, use the paints only on professionally prepared, clean surfaces.
