Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set has been specifically designed for the precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and finally clear coat. Due to the numbered bottles, the application sequence is clear, allowing the paint build-up to occur exactly as with Tesla. The processing should ideally take place at 15–25 °C. It is advisable to do a color check on an inconspicuous area before application.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. If necessary, clean with silicone remover.
Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area lightly, applying multiple layers as needed. Allow sufficient drying time between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): After the base coat has fully dried, apply in the same manner. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: Apply after the drying of the base coat (and optionally glaze) to seal the area and provide shine. Allow at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
For perfect results, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
