Application and Characteristics of the Tesla Touch Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set has been specifically developed for the precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, ensuring that the paint structure is applied just like at Tesla. The application should ideally be performed at 15-25 °C. A color tone check on an inconspicuous area is recommended before use.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface dry, clean, and grease-free. If necessary, clean with silicone remover.
Shake the bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Apply a thin layer to the damage and apply several layers as needed, allowing sufficient time for air drying between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same way after the base coat has completely dried. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: After the base coat (and possible glaze) has dried, apply to seal the area and enhance gloss. Allow at least one hour for drying of the base coat before application.
For a perfect result, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
