Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specifically designed for precise repairs of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint composition. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined so that the paint layering is done exactly as at Tesla. The application should ideally take place at 15–25 °C. A color check on an inconspicuous area is recommended before application.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area thinly and apply several layers as needed. Allow adequate drying time between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same way after the base coat has fully dried. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and glaze if applicable) has dried to seal the area and create gloss. Before application, maintain at least one hour drying time for the base coat.
For a perfect result, use the paints only on professionally prepared, clean surfaces.
