Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specifically designed for the precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact replication of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, it consists of Base Coat, optional Glaze, and subsequently Clear Coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the layering sequence is clearly defined, allowing for an exact paint application like at Tesla. Ideally, processing should take place at 15–25 °C. We recommend a color tone check on an inconspicuous area before application.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area lightly and apply multiple layers as needed. Ensure adequate drying time between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply similarly after the base coat is fully dry. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and possibly glaze) has dried to seal the surface and achieve shine. Allow at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
For perfect results, only use the paints on professionally prepared, clean surfaces.
