Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specifically designed for precise repairs of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an accurate reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, allowing for exact paint layering as at Tesla. Application should ideally take place at 15-25 °C. Before application, a color tone check on an inconspicuous area is recommended.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and free of grease. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area lightly and apply multiple layers as needed. Ensure sufficient drying time between coats.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat has fully dried. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and optional glaze) has dried to seal the area and achieve gloss. Allow at least one hour drying time for the base coat before applying.
For perfect results, use the paints exclusively on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
