Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specifically designed for precise repairs of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact replication of the original Tesla paint application. Depending on the color code, it consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the sequence is clearly defined, ensuring that the paint application is done exactly as with Tesla. Ideally, processing should be done at 15–25 °C. A color match check on an inconspicuous area is recommended before application.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
Shake the bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area thinly and apply multiple layers as needed. Ensure sufficient drying time between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat is fully dry. Multiple thin layers are possible.
3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and possibly glaze) has dried to seal the area and achieve shine. Allow at least one hour drying time for the base coat before applying.
For a perfect result, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
