It uses high-quality, Tesla-approved NEXA Color paint mixtures in undiluted form – for maximum color accuracy, adhesion, and durability.

Application and Properties of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set was specifically designed for precise restoration of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint layer. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, allowing for an exact paint application as per Tesla standards. The application should ideally be done at 15–25 °C. Before use, it is advisable to check the shade on an inconspicuous spot.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
Shake bottles well before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area lightly and apply several layers as needed. Allow adequate drying time between layers.
2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat has fully dried. Multiple thin layers may be applied.
3. Clear Coat: Apply after drying of the base coat (and possibly glaze) to seal the area and create shine. Maintain at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before applying.
For a perfect result, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
