Application and Properties of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set was specifically designed for the precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequently clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, allowing the paint application to be done just like at Tesla. The application should ideally be carried out at 15–25 °C. A color check on an inconspicuous area is recommended prior to use.

Step-by-Step Instructions

• Prepare the vehicle surface dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if needed.
• Shake bottles well before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
• 1. Base Coat: Gently dab the damaged area and apply several coats as needed. Allow sufficient drying time between coats.
• 2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat is completely dry. Multiple thin layers are possible.
• 3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and optionally glaze) has dried to seal the surface and create shine. Allow at least one hour drying time for the base coat before application.
• For perfect results, use the paints only on professionally prepared, clean surfaces.
