Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specially designed for precise repairs of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact replication of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this includes Base Coat, optional Glaze, and then Clear Coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the application order is clearly defined, allowing the paint structure to match Tesla exactly. Processing should ideally be done at 15–25 °C. Before use, a color check on an inconspicuous area is recommended.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Prepare vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. If necessary, clean with silicone remover.
  • Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
  • 1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area sparingly and apply several coats as needed. Allow adequate drying time between layers.
  • 2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): After complete drying of the base coat, apply in the same manner. Multiple thin layers are possible.
  • 3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and optionally glaze) has dried, to seal the area and provide shine. Allow at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
  • For perfect results, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
