Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specifically designed for precise repairs of paint damages on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, so the paint structure occurs just like at Tesla. Processing should ideally be done at 15–25 °C. Prior to application, a color check on an inconspicuous area is recommended.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
  • Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
  • 1. Base Coat: Dab the damage area lightly and apply multiple layers as needed. Ensure adequate drying time between layers.
  • 2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after full drying of the base coat. Multiple thin layers are possible.
  • 3. Clear Coat: After the base coat (and possibly glaze) dries, apply to seal the area and achieve gloss. Allow at least one hour drying time of the base coat before applying.
  • For a perfect result, use the paints only on professionally prepared, clean surfaces.
