Application and Features of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set has been specifically designed for the precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional varnish, and thus clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, ensuring the paint structure is applied exactly as it is done at Tesla. The application should ideally be done at 15–25 °C. Before application, it is advisable to check the color in an inconspicuous area.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
  • Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
  • 1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area lightly and apply multiple layers if needed. Allow sufficient drying time between layers.
  • 2. Varnish (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same way after the base coat has completely dried. Multiple thin layers are possible.
  • 3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and possibly varnish) has dried to seal the area and achieve the gloss finish. Ensure at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
  • For a perfect result, only use the paints on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
