Application and Properties of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Kit

The touch-up paint kit is specifically designed for precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the sequence is clearly defined, ensuring that the paint application is carried out exactly as with Tesla. Processing should ideally take place at 15–25 °C. Before application, a color tone check on an inconspicuous area is recommended.

Step-by-Step Instructions

• Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
• Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
• 1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area thinly and apply multiple layers as needed. Allow sufficient drying time between layers.
• 2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same way after complete drying of the base coat. Multiple thin layers are possible.
• 3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and if applicable glaze) has dried to seal the area and create shine. Allow at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
• For perfect results, use the paints exclusively on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
