Application and Properties of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specifically designed for precise repairs of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact reproduction of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and then clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, allowing for the paint structure to be applied exactly as done by Tesla. Ideally, processing should occur at 15–25 °C. It is advisable to perform a color tone check on an inconspicuous area before application.

Step-by-Step Guide

• Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
• Shake bottles vigorously before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
• 1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area thinly and apply multiple layers as needed. Allow for adequate drying time between layers.
• 2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat has completely dried. Multiple thin layers are possible.
• 3. Clear Coat: After drying the base coat (and possibly glaze), apply to seal the area and create a shine. Ensure at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
• For a perfect result, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
