Application and Properties of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set has been specially designed for precise touch-ups of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow exact replication of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and subsequent clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the application order is clear, ensuring the paint structure matches that of Tesla exactly. Application should ideally be done at 15–25 °C. A color check in an inconspicuous area is recommended before use.

Step-by-Step Instructions

• Prepare the vehicle surface to be dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if needed.
• Shake the bottles well before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
• 1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area thinly and apply multiple coats as needed. Maintain sufficient drying time between layers.
• 2. Glaze (optional depending on color code): Apply in the same manner after the base coat is fully dry. Multiple thin layers are possible.
• 3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and possibly glaze) has dried to seal the area and achieve gloss. Ensure at least one hour drying time of the base coat before application.
• For best results, use the paints only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
