Application and Properties of the Tesla Touch-Up Paint Set

The touch-up paint set is specially designed for the precise repair of paint damage on Tesla vehicles. The high-quality NEXA Color paints in OEM quality allow for an exact replication of the original Tesla paint structure. Depending on the color code, this consists of base coat, optional glaze, and then clear coat. Thanks to the numbered bottles, the order is clearly defined, allowing for the paint application to be exact as per Tesla. Work should ideally be carried out at 15–25 °C. Before application, a shade check on a discreet area is recommended.

Step-by-Step Guide

• Prepare vehicle surface dry, clean, and grease-free. Clean with silicone remover if necessary.
• Shake bottles well before use until the mixing ball inside is audible.
• 1. Base Coat: Dab the damaged area lightly and apply multiple layers as needed. Ensure adequate drying time between layers.
• 2. Glaze (optional based on color code): After the base coat is fully dry, apply in the same manner. Multiple thin layers are possible.
• 3. Clear Coat: Apply after the base coat (and glaze if applicable) has dried to seal the area and achieve gloss. Allow at least one hour of drying time for the base coat before application.
• For a perfect result, use only on properly prepared, clean surfaces.
