Labocosmetica SAM + HPC 2.0 – Two-Layer Ceramic Coating for Ultimate Paint Protection

The Labocosmetica SAM + HPC 2.0 set offers a two-layer ceramic coating that protects the paint long-term while providing an impressive look. Combining SAM (Self-Assembled Monolayer) and HPC 2.0, it creates an extremely durable, hydrophobic protective layer with deep color intensity and a silky finish.

Why a Two-Layer System?

SAM forms an ultra-thin, chemically bonded protective layer that serves as the base for the HPC 2.0 coating.
HPC 2.0 enhances shine, offers extreme hydrophobicity, and makes vehicle maintenance easier.
The combination of both layers provides up to 4 years or 60,000 km of protection against environmental influences, dirt, and water.

Application Instructions

1. Preparation

Thoroughly clean the paint surface and remove any old waxes, sealants, or contaminants. If necessary, remove scratches or swirls through mechanical polishing. Then degrease the surface with an appropriate degreaser like Veritas.

2. Applying SAM

SAM should be applied evenly in small sections (approx. 50 × 50 cm) using light pressure in a cross pattern. After 2–5 minutes, when small bubbles become visible, polish off the residues with a microfiber cloth.

3. Applying HPC 2.0

Once SAM has been applied and polished in an area, HPC 2.0 can be applied directly on top. The application follows the same procedure as the first layer.

4. Curing

After application, the vehicle should remain dry for at least 12 hours. Full curing occurs within 36 hours. During this time, the vehicle should not be washed.
