Avery Dennison Application Gel – The Perfect Support for PPF Installation
Avery Dennison Application Gel is a specially formulated lubricant that significantly eases the application of paint protection film and stone chip protection film. It reduces friction during installation and allows for precise positioning of the film on the vehicle surface. This minimizes the risk of wrinkles and air bubbles, leading to a professional and uniform result.
Compatible with Leading PPF Brands
Notably, it has high compatibility with various paint protection films and stone chip protection films. The gel is perfect for use with:
- Profilm
- XPEL
- Suntek
- Stek
This versatility makes the gel an indispensable tool for professional detailers and wrappers. It is suitable for large applications as well as for detailed work requiring precise film adjustments.
Gel vs. Slip Solution – What's the Difference?
Many wrappers use a so-called Slip Solution, usually made of water and baby shampoo, for adhesion. While a slip solution makes the film slippery, it may evaporate unevenly and potentially affect adhesion. In contrast, Avery Dennison Application Gel provides controlled slipperiness and allows for even evaporation without leaving residues or bubbles. It enhances the adhesion of paint protection film or stone chip protection film and ensures a clean final result.
Residue-Free Application for a Perfect Finish
Thanks to its special formula, Avery Dennison Application Gel enables optimal adhesion of the film without leaving residues or negatively impacting the adhesive. After application, the gel evaporates in a controlled manner, allowing the film to adhere perfectly to the paint. It not only simplifies the application process but also helps enhance the durability and appearance of the protective film in the long run.
