The 3D Interface Pads with Micro Hook Velcro were specifically designed for the 3D ACA Flex Sanding Discs. They are also suitable for other sanding media such as Kovax, 3M, and Mirka. The 3D Interface Pad offers the perfect balance of cushioning and material removal. The eccentric movement is maintained while generating sufficient pressure to efficiently remove paint peaks down to the base level.
The sanding side of the Interface Pad is equipped with very flat and uniform micro hooks. They provide excellent attachment stability and virtually eliminate any horizontal torsion between the sanding disc and the intermediate layer. The flat micro hooks keep the surface of the sanding disc very flat against the surface. This prevents any "wobble" between the interface disc and the sanding disc. The oscillating application effect of the eccentric sander is fully transferred. The result is a noticeably smoother finish and optimal removal of paint peaks or paint elevations.
