Profilm PPF ProColor Series is a series of ColorChange PPF films. On dark - ideally solid black paint, stunning color effects can be achieved with these films. ProColor PPF paint protection films offer the same protection as conventional paint protection films and are resistant to stone chips, as tested by SAE J400. Samples are available to experience the potential color effects. The urethane and adhesive used are non-yellowing. With a substantial overall thickness of approx. 200µm, ProColor comes with a 7-year warranty. ProColor PPF paint protection films are only available for authorized installers.

Profilm is exclusively distributed in Germany & Austria by KRÜGER GmbH, Limburg and can be purchased through Chemical-Shark.de. Certification-required products like the Ultra Clear Pro UCP and ProColor Color Change PPF are only issued to authorized installers. The films reGen, Super Matte, and Satin Matte are available to the public. The PPF cutting software ProCut can be licensed monthly or for a full year. Bookings can also be made through our web portal Chemical-Shark.de. Furthermore, a variety of tools, processing, and coating agents are available. Profilm is an official partner of Gtechniq Smart Surface Science. Coatings, cleaning, and care products from Gtechniq are fully compatible with Profilm PPF paint protection films.

Anwendungsbeschreibung für Profilm PPF Lackschutzfolien
Die Verarbeitung von Profilm PPF Lackschutzfolien erfordert saubere Arbeitsbedingungen, die richtige Temperatur und eine sorgfältige Vorbereitung des Untergrunds. Vor der Montage muss das Fahrzeug gründlich gewaschen, entfettet und von Schmutz, Wachs oder Silikon befreit werden. Für eine optimale Verklebung sollte die Verarbeitungstemperatur zwischen 15°C und 25°C liegen, idealerweise bei ca. 20°C.
Slip Solution: Für die Positionierung der Folie wird eine Slip Solution aus pH-neutralem Babyshampoo empfohlen. Dosierung: 2–5 ml Shampoo auf 1 Liter Wasser. Diese Mischung ermöglicht ein leichtes Verschieben der Folie auf der Oberfläche, bis sie korrekt ausgerichtet ist.
Tack Solution: Um die Folie in Kurven oder an Kanten zu fixieren, wird eine Tack Solution eingesetzt. Hierfür wird 20–30 % Isopropylalkohol (99,9%) mit Wasser gemischt. Alternativ kann warmes Wasser mit einer Temperatur von 50–65 °C genutzt werden, um die Haftung zu verstärken und das Material flexibler zu machen.
Die Folie wird anschließend mit einem Rakel gleichmäßig ausgestrichen, um Wasser- und Luftblasen zu entfernen. An hoch belasteten Stellen kann mit etwas Wärme nachgearbeitet werden, um Kanten optimal anzulegen.
